Dr. Stephanie Paris O.D.

Dr. Paris received her undergraduate degree from The University of Maryland, College Park and went on to receive her Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in 1991.

She worked for a private practice in Boston for 12 years before joining a cornea practice for 4 years where she specialized in contact lenses. In 2009 she bought Community Opticians and in 2011 she bought Welch Optics, both located in Waltham, MA. January 2015 she merged her two practices to form what is now Paris Eyecare.


Dr. Joanna Gebhardt O.D., F.A.A.O

Dr. Gebhardt graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse in 2007 and obtained an optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, where she graduated with honors in May 2011.

In 2012, Dr. Gebhardt completed a residency in ocular disease and low vision rehabilitation at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center and Hines VA Hospital in Chicago, IL. She is a member of the American Optometry Association, a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and board certified by the American Board of Optometry. Dr. Gebhardt spent five years working at ophthalmology practices prior to relocating to the Boston area.
